The sympathy card wording that I am looking for whenever I buy one is that with a message about having faith that the departed loved one has finally joined his/her creator.  It really is hard to express sympathy and regrets but encouraging someone to trust in the Lord and surrender their loss and pain is a little easier.  There are always obstacles of various sizes as long as we are still living but we need a little faith to see beyond our present struggles.  I know it is easier said than done but with a little practice and some help from our friends, we will surely get by.
